Content and its discontents

“We’re misusing technology and creating content that devalues our industry as a whole by flooding the market with not so much and meh and whatever the fuck that was that I just watched. I’m not sure that’s a good business decision.“

He refuses to use the word “content.” The word says everything about how we’re thinking. Words are powerful things. They should not be used lightly.  It’s the worst of the current buzzwords, because it has the least meaning, it’s literally word oatmeal and that’s probably an insult to oatmel”

“They think it doesn’t make a difference. It does make a difference. It all makes a difference.”

“It always makes a fucking difference.”

“You can pretend it doesn’t but it does. And that’s reality.  If it’s a film call it a film. If it’s a book call it a book. If it’s fucking song call it a song. That’s what this about.”
